Gr.1 & Classic Winners

Six-time Gr.1 and Classic winner LAURENS was purchased by Creighton Schwartz Bloodstock for £220,000 from Anna Sundstrom's Coulonces Consignment at the Goffs UK Premier Sale for John and Jess Dance.

French-bred by Siyouni and already named Laurens, she was the star of the show at Doncaster and it was clear that she would top the sale, but to see off Shadwell and take her home was a real thrill.
Reports from Karl Burke were excellent from the start and we were very excited for her debut and when she won the Gr.1 Fillies' Mile at Newmarket it was a dream come true. Her roll of honour now includes the Gr.1 Saint-Alary, Gr.1 Prix de Diane, Gr.1 Matron Stakes, Gr.1 Sun Chariot Stakes, Gr.1 Queen Elizabeth II Stakes and Gr.1 Prix Rothschild.
She is out of the winning Cape Cross mare Recambe, who is a half-sister to the Listed winner Salford Mill and from the family of Gr.1 Prix de l'Opera winner Kinnaird and sires Berkshire and Ivawood.
She has now retired to stud a French Classic, Gr.1 and Gr.2 winner at 2, 3 and 4 and has amassed prize money of £1,765,408 to date.
