About Us

Established in 2011, Creighton Schwartz Bloodstock is owned and managed by Daniel Creighton and Josh Schwartz, alongside their Salcey Forest Stud, which is based in Warwickshire.

Daniel, son of trainer Eddie, was born in Ireland and raised between his homeland, Spain and England. He has gained knowledge of racing, bloodlines and form in each country through his childhood and his time spent working in racing at the likes of HRI and as a multi-lingual commentator at SIS.

Josh gained experience with breeding stock on various stud farms and rode out in the UK before also joining SIS. The pair took on Salcey Forest Stud in 2011 for their own broodmares, but quickly expanded to boarding mares and by 2015 it had grown significantly into a commercial enterprise requiring full-time attention and it is now a leading stud farm.

The agency also started to flourish with the purchases of the likes of the Gr.3 Cornwallis Stakes winner Abel Handy (Arcano), who was purhased at Goffs UK Silver Sale for £9,000, and in 2016 Daniel decided to focus all of his attention on the agency.

This was a lucrative move as it was the year that he purchased five-time Gr.1 and Classic winner Laurens (Siyouni) for John Dance, while last year the stud hit new heights when topping the Goffs London Sale when Belle Josephine and her Pivotal colt foal realising £720,000. She was purchased by Creighton Schwartz Bloodstock two years prior for 60,000gns from the Tattersalls December Sale.
